Hey there! I am David Yao and welcome to Funders' Found. This is my space where I share my thoughts and discoveries in AI and Venture Capital.

I am a tech enthusiast and a Gen-Z investor in China. Before launching this site in April 2025, I primarily focused on investing in photonic and aerospace technologies. Such kind of experience provides me an atypical lens to obseve AI startups.

The name "Funders' Found" is inspired by the well-known venture capital firm, Founders Fund. This name will relentlessly motivate me to learn from SOTA founders and investors.
